Hello,
Does anyone know where this type of sign could have been built from? The architectural fabrication is way out of my league from a manufacturing standpoint, but, i would gladly "vendor" up this job. i can see the acrylic lettering, which is the easy part.
This is a really nice design...
I Hear all of you guys. They just called and they are getting copyright pending stickers attached to the back of the banners. i have a feeling they are going to market these to every school in america.

So, i have a client who wants to take some files i re-created for them onto a flash drive. Basically, a re-created sign to fix their design and presentation needs. They ended up buying three very small table top banners. Now, they want the files. The did pay for a design fee for standing in the...
hello-
i have a royal sovereign laminator. the tai-up reel has finally quit. the gears are garbage inside the casing.
i called RS and they sent me a quote to replace it. its like, 400 dollars?
Does anyone have a better solution?

we had a 2'x20' built from a knock down kit. The cost was about 900 when we got it all put together. if you charged the right amount, you should have a smile on your face.
We have to use an 3m ij39. it takes two minutes to weed these things. it takes a minute and half to cut on the plotter. Hmmmm… there is some wiggle room on this order.

The material usage is marginal. at 48" high, the usage is about 60 feet. this includes some errors from labor. the weed time is about a minute a unit. so, 500 units, should be about 9 hours.
Hello!
We have a 10x7 P.O.W. logo that we have done in 2014 for a client. this month, i requoted the job and the price per unit bumped up 3.99 dollars each. They are asking for a "order 500" discount.
Thoughts? My gut says no. These are all weeded and taped by hand. i don't see the value in...
if they are what i used to make for another sign company, it was the acrylic clear strips that had reverse weeded black vinyl on it? the acrylic was frosted so you would not see the lighting in the directory. the strips were 1.25" tall by 27" long and i had to cut the offsets so they would lock...
Her lawyer replied with,

So, i have a client who has a company. for identity purposes, i am going to change the words abit. She is being accused of violating the lanham act for logo infringement.
My client started a company called cupcakemary. They makes cupcakes shaped like a "m". they are really good. highly...
coro prices from everyone...
Is half a story.
Are you all printing these coro signs on a flatbed??
ARE THEY LAMINATED?
Do you print on vinyl, then laminate THEN mount on a substrate?

Reflective inks
For what it is worth, i ended up printing my entire pantone PDF chart on reflective. That way i get to show the customer the difference in color gamut with the media choices.
the only way you will get a better coverage is to double print the color like we do with out mimaki...

The sign is ten feet long? i would automatically charge more for that. you also forget the "marketability" of your services. Sure, you can charge 350 for this sign. lets say you put two and half hours into it. what is your profit in this? 60 bucks? 80 bucks? that is way too low for a...
Remember those? black cabinets with glass doors? you opened the door and changed the directory, or listing of times for various events?
I can't remember my vendor who makes them!
