.25 board
gentlemen-
all good points for mounting. i used a "L" bracket running down the side after using just 4 mounting clips. the wind snatched that sign right off the posts and moved it down the street.
i would def. use some kind of trim bevel going across.
i recommend...
In the porch...
loc-tite?
well, i wonder how much pressure you are putting in these!
if you are left-handed, i can only imagine!
i find the older ones do this more than the new ones. i guess they wear out eventually...

hello!
does anybody ever heard or know someone who prints on 11x8.5 or 11x17 clear (acetate) sheets that i can place some graphics on. i want to place pretty graphics on these sheets and them typeface up some menu items to go on a second sheet. this way if the menu sheet changes, you don't...
menu charges..updated
now it seems i have three Menu designs to do.
i explained to the customer i need a text file. or there is a type/design layout charge.
you wouldn't believe how fast they gave me that file....
thanks for the input!
.....died in my meaty hand today. on a job site where i had to grommett to fit. POS blue one didn't even last five years.
SO aggravating.
Issue 1.
the effing thing can't even HOLD both part on the machine when you turn it vertical. REALLY? what is the point of that????
Issue 2.

inernal error
wow. that is the best advice i ever heard.
"buy a new printer"
i wonder if you need a G.E.D. to come up with that?
internal errors are not good. i hope it is a crimped cable and not a main logic board.
Gerber customer service is not all bad. they are quirky, though.
good...
browsing Dafont
takes WAY longer than vectorizing it with corel.....
i ended up doing that. i have a strict 15 minute seek time. after that, i covert it.
thanks anyway.
i don't even know where to begin, here...
1. that sounds like a "yes" or "no" question the machine is asking.
reboot the machine and see if you get stuck there.
2.it is possible the machine firm ware that can be set from windows mimaki software, you need to tell the machine what inks you WILL...
black ink
what are the values of the black?
black = 100 K
= 100% ink coverage.
or
Black = 100 y, 100 m, 100 c
= 300% ink coverage.
which do you think will take longer to dry??
-mosher
only print black
it sounds like the dampers are done. you need to see if you can siphon ink out of them before the print head.
five years = dried ink.
good luck

trim on
i trim decals by layering each cut on top of itself. 100 decals 2"x8" square cut in 10-15 minutes. one xacto and one big blue ruler..
that royal electric thing is a waste of 3000 bucks. i would rather buy something else with that kind of money.
worst case? i have two 42" "school" paper...
sigh.
i have no idea how to make a successful one. i have a 54"x168" sign that needs a cover on it for a grand opening event. the last time i tried this with a paper banner, mother nature decided the reveal was a day early.
ideas?
