We have a US Tech and like it. Pretty good machine.

Can you just run paper labels through a laser copier for something like this? I don't want to oversimplify it, but would that work? Americal sells a ton of paper label blank stock for laser printers. Not to mention what you can find on Amazon.

It looks like 3mm ACM to me as well. You may be able to find an edge rounding bit as well. I know Zund is coming out with one, but it may be easier just to use a handheld router to round the edge.
