  1. Destructible Vinyl...

The type I'm using is the kind that basically flakes off in tiny little pieces when removal is attempted. It would take an hour to remove the entire 1" x 2" label. And I do know that it's not intended for cut letters! This is a print and cut job for rectangular stickers with sequential...
  2. Destructible Vinyl...

Anyone ever use Destructible Vinyl?? Ever tried weeding it? I am running a job... 4500 1" x 2" labels for a company to put on their computers. Tried weeding it... :frustrated::banghead::frustrated::banghead: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, but after about 15 minutes of...
  3. First van job

I haven't billed the job out yet! I know these guys very well and they know I won't gouge them, so we went ahead with the job first and will do the invoice up next week! Well actually, I've had 2 free lunches so far!! I will likely do some trade of services for part of the invoice (the...
  4. First van job

I used burgundy 220 for the smaller stuff cut on my enVision. For the larger logos, I had to resort to (gulp) Avery burgundy, as my local supplier was no longer carrying 220 in 24" rolls. The Avery went on well, and apparently their "issues" are a thing of the past. We'll see!! I did print & cut...
  5. First van job

Did this yesterday afternoon for an amazing Indian Restaurant in my home city of Airdrie! They were extremely pleased with the results. I was fortunate to get a day that warmed up a little... just enough to do the install with a little assistance from my heat gun! Luckily I was able to use the...

  10. Gerber Foil Question

I just received a new sample TODAY from GMS which I think would suite your glitter request perfectly. It's called "Convex Diamond". It is about as glittery as you can need!! I'll attach photos of the sample I received, but don't know if the photos will do the glitter justice. It really is very...

  13. l25500 fans?

That fan runs 24/7... it is normal! Don't turn the printer off at all, as it goes through cleaning cycles and the heads will dry up on you. :thumb:
  14. Gerber Edge FX questions

Here in Canada back in July 2009 I paid $25,999 for the following: Edge FX enVision 375 Plotter Omega 3.0 Software (free upgraded to 4.0) 10 Foil Caddy's 10 Mixed Foils Installation Training Freight Back then, that was a good package. The enVision 375 is the best cutter of the choices I had...

Yeah, but then this thread wouldn't exist, would it? If I'm not mistaken, this thread is about how long a banner can last, not whether or not it looks good! :banghead:
