I recently bought a used F1612, and I had a great experience with Airmark. They were able to send me all the parts I needed, and even had one of their techs come in and train us on the machine.
For what it's worth anyways.
Questions I have:
How are the reds? Any improvement from the 300 series?
I'm a flexi user, I'm assuming I would be forced to use Onyx with the new machines?
Let's say I buy a white ink model, and I go a month without printing white. Are the printheads going to be okay as long as they are removed?
I don't believe it's a rebranded CWT. They are similar, but this one is manufactured in Hungary. The entire frame is welded together.
I have a 12ft table. We mostly use ours for masking & mounting. You can laminate with it, and it does a fine job for smaller jobs where you don't want to load up...
Check out Colex's application table. I'm very pleased with mine. At the time I bought it, they were running a special where they included a Keencut Evo2 to go on the end of it.
I've had that same problem with Avery laminate. We ended up switching over to 3M and haven't had the problem since. In my opinion, the Avery laminate adhesive is pretty weak compared to 3M.
