I have the 65" RS and it's been good. Know nothing about the Seal other than shops that own them seem to like them. I would be more inclined to get another RS though. You are familiar with the controls and worst case you could swap parts to keep going on a job.
I'm a fan of redundancy.
I'm burning out on the "Which one to buy threads", and Tomence nailed it. Everyone turns it into a 3rd grade schoolyard contest. Mine can do this. Oh yeah?! Well mine is better because it can do this!
No one EVER talks about speed of service when something goes horribly wrong. And it will...
Let a pro do it. Seriously. There is a ton of prep and all kinds of little tricks to get the job near perfect. I know I used to do it years ago. Now I have my bud Nick do it since that's how he makes his living. He knocks it out in short order and I get to be stress free.
Not sure if there...
If the paint is done right it will be quite heavy. 1) Epoxy sealer on bare metal. 2) Bodywork(bondo) 3) 2K style surfacer. 4) Base shade/sealer for color match/holdout 5) Basecoat 6) Clearcoat.
The latest high solids products are super heavy.
Hi Pat,
Labels are for a web offset printer. Hexane is a major component of gasoline. It is also in printing inks and blanket wash(to clean presses and dryers). Although blanket wash has things in it that are good at removing skin and lungs too. It is used for extracting things like peanut...
Hexane: I posted in the decal forum and no one had an answer regarding resistant materials. Understandable since many of you don't make industrial labels. So I called my engineering contact and made a lab appointment. I spent about 20 minutes with various materials and pure hexane. Oracal...
I've said it before and it bears repeating. Buy the printer from the dealer that is closest to your shop and has reliable techs. You may get a smokin' deal from a place in another state. But when things go bad, and they will, you're down until someone can come and repair it.
I'm stuck with...
PDF's for offset or any other printing for that matter should be saved as Press Quality. Turning off Optimize for Fast Web View must be turned off also. It is not as simple as saving as PDF. Like anything else you have to be familiar with the settings.
We work with an offset printer that has...
We run all perf on the VW High Speed setting. No point trying to do a high res print when half of it's missing. All you do is waste ink and time and it doesn't look any better.
On another forum I belong to members are complaining about the charge backs. Many are getting scammed out of high dollar race parts. You absolutely positively have to have all your documentation in order or you're out of luck. Even with flawless documentation you may be out of luck.

Hey Dizzy,
Never had an issue ordering ink from US Cutter. As far as their other stuff goes I dunno. All I get so far is ink. I save over $15 a 440 from them.
