I thought that you had to custom build each frame for each job? Maybe I'm wrong. We have a canvas shop in town that does them, but they won't build the frame, you have to bring your old frame to them and they will re-cover it.

Just get something with a heavy liner. All I've ever bought is the Oracal lam...and it's backer sucks. I've learned how to use it, but can't do the bigger stuff w/o trouble. I'm not sure which is best, but I think Dale has some results on it.

Right now my minimum is $25, but I'm thinkin' about raising that for anything that has to be cut or printed. More like $50, so then it keeps the annoying people away when they call, and doesn't waste my time anymore.

Just keep jacking up the price. The guy I lost said that he would only come to me cause the other guys were "too much money". Since he basically stole the stuff from me...I assume he was looking for free now. Just make it worth your time, or be honest with the guy and tell him you can keep...

I used to have a couple. Then one guy finally didn't pay a bill, and I told him I was done, and I wouldn't even consider doing work for him anymore, even if he did pay. The one that I have that calls me all the time now, I really like to work with because they are easily 50%+ of my business...
