It's been kind of quiet around here lately. The only excitement is the occassional "driving a combine drunk to eat possum at my baby mama's house" that Mosh makes and the obligatory Sergio update.
You need something to monitor anyway, I know you and Fred are sitting around bored. :ROFLMAO...
I keep asking Stacey to re-instate him....it's not like he's not coming by anyway.
It's Christmas, the economy is in the tank, we need some entertainment around here besides Mosh.
I only invoice very well established companies, most of whom can provide D&B information if asked, and companies that typically have the operating capital available to cover slow periods. What I'm hearing is that they've been slow so long they're depleting reserves here at the end of the year...
I've also noticed that none of my suppliers have sent me a Christmas card so far this year. Usually they've started rolling in by now. Not that I'm basing purchasing decisions on the quality of cards they send (I base decisions on proximity of contact information) but I see it as another...
:ROFLMAO: I don't think any of them will get to that point but it reminded me of something. I know a guy who was awarded a lien against a customers truck he'd done repair work on. That was in the early 1990s. The truck died it's final death about 5 years ago and the owner couldn't even scrap...
Okay, for a year now I've been okay with our invoicing. Things have gone from averaging 10 days until payment in February to around 21 days in July, all of which I was okay with.
In November the average time until payment crossed the 30 day threshold for the first time ever.
Here in December...
Start calling the Fire Marshall. You can keep trying to be "the nice guy" but they've made it obvious what they want the space for. Until somebody smacks them they're not going to take any of it seriously.
Seal the roof with foam? How does that correct the problem which is they aren't...
Phone isn't ringing and it's pouring down rain. I've got a big stack of work orders to do and none of them interests me at all.
I'm going home.
I think the rest of you should take the rest of the day off.
Except Mosh, don't need him out driving the combine drunk until after rush hour.
The corners look a lot like some of the corners in the Golden Era clip art collection. The letter itself looks like Times Roman.
Wouldn't be hard to create a standard box and then just insert the letters.
What kind of latex? A lot of latex house paint has a mildew preventative in it that keeps the vinyl from adhering. You may be able to get it to adhere by applying heat but don't count on it. The last time that happened to me I literally watched a 12" logo fall off the sign after we'd spent 20...
I used to do that all the time on posterboard using our Roland. I made my nephew 25 poster board sized coloring pages for Christmas one year.
Takes forever and cost a fortune in Sharpies.
It's not surprise that's being done on a kitchen table.
You're losing the bulk of your profit if you're going to try to print that kind of volume on a JV3. Mike's right, you need to sub it out to a printer with the horsepower to crank the job out. Your prints will come out much cheaper than you can do them in-house.
There was a regional trucking...
It's ridiculous to me we don't have to pass the driving test here but once in a lifetime. You can fail it 20 times and luck up and get it right the 21st and you're free to drive.
