Agree with Scottydo. The install could not be easier. You don't even have to configure the Sentinel driver. And...this was nice, all of my preferences were automatically saved. The whole install took, what, 4 minutes?
No hitches so far. Gerber is making things easier.
When I select a specific media type, all print speeds (quality) are greyed out except for Standard. This isn't the case for non-specific media types.
For example: When I select the profile for Orajet 3651 they're greyed out. Alternatively,
if I select a generic profile such as Generic Vinyl 1...
Fred, you're exactly right. Omega doesn't make it easy. Or doable for that matter.
Bob, your first idea didn't work. But, aha, the second idea of using the file converter DID work. So you've helped me find a work-around. I'm going to have to buy a copy of CS2 or CS3 I guess, as Omega 2.6...
Good one, except that I don't see a way to do that. When exporting through the export filter/options, I don't see a release/version box to tick.
What method should I use?
Signguytom, in your opinion is the PhotoShop black model the most useful to run on a printer? It seems to lay down to much of a deposit of ink for us.
We try to use 30-30-30-100 when we assign black from our layout program. PhotoShop black is of course much richer.
Ok, finally updated and got 2.61 loaded. But where before I could enter text in Omega, export as .ai, and open that text in Adobe PhotoShop 7.0, I can no longer do it.
I've tried exporting simple shapes as a test and they'll open fine in PS. So I thought maybe it had something to do with the...
If the client is an authorized dealer for Carrier, Trane, York, etc. then the corporation has quality artwork available. They'll have to give you their User name and Password to enable you to access the download site.
