Recommended materials for these retractable banner stands (orient 800) range from Pop-up to gf photo paper. While postermax is not listed as a recommended material, it seems similar to what is recommended, so I figured I'd ask to see if anybody has tried using it before.

Has anybody used postermax (8.5 mil latex saturated paper) in a retractable banner stand before? With good results? I have a roll of pop-up coming in tomorrow but am wondering if postermax will work just as well as I have a full roll of that sitting on the rack.

I'll try changing the color of the stripe tomorrow and posy. I think that might work better. Thanks for the suggestions.

Looking for some critique on this layout. Logo is set in stone, mainly looking for opinions/suggestions on the stripe. Customer wants some type of stripe or swoosh in there.

So how much did you save? $7284/$11,000 deductible sounds pretty high, even for NY. It is certainly higher than what I am currently paying in NY.

Laminate eveything that isn't temporary. As for non laminated stuff sticking to eachonther, use matte vinyl, it won't stick. We had the problem of double sided unlaminated yard signs sticking to eachother and being ruined, even if the print dried for a week. Found out on here a year back or...

You have to align the print to the substrate if you are going to lay it down by hand with a squeege anyway... There is no way a 8'x4' sheet can be laid by hand with a squeege quicker than with a laminator. After you have the print aligned to the substrate, clamp it to the substrate using pads...

Is there any fake gold vinyl that is also gold on the backside that can be used for face stick window lettering? Everything I've seen has a silver back.

Partially answers the question. I have a customer interested in this type of sign for their office. The office will have normal office lighting. I've looked a lots of pictures of these signs, and most are taken in a dark environment. It would be awesome if someone has or knows where once can...

Could have something to do with clamping a weight to the bottom for "even tension" We just let the panels hang freely after the top portion is laid.
