  1. Illustrator CutContour creating a white outline on prints

My CutContour is always a contrasting color FILL on top of everything else. Real easy to see if the rip identified it or not.
  2. Panama City Beach Restaurants

Saltwater Grill, Firefly, Shrimp Boat, Uncle Ernie's... Lots of good food. .. I mean.. STAY OUTTA MY TURF! :thumb:
  3. Single horizontal band HP25600

Haven't seen it on my latex, but it happens on my UV. I get ink drop out like that when the vacuum pressure drops in my printheads for a second, like lower than it can recover from in the time it takes to make a pass or two. Different system though, so ymmv.
  4. Ugh....employee rant....

It's a sign shop.. I'm guessing half of the work he does will involve a knife. That would be the definition of, "Not the right fit for the job." :banghead:
  5. Blues looking purple on HP L25500

Does the "purpleness" change from media to media? Do you print using a color replacement table / pantone colors? How do the blues you print compare the an actual pantone chart? Using Illustrator and most other graphics programs, the default blue swatches are WAY too purple. Illustrators "CMYK...
  6. 4over is dead

I haven't had an interruption in my service with them. I saw them mention something on Facebook about a problem. I've copy pasted what they posted yesterday...
  7. Windows......................

Stuff I always see at fast food is static cling, reverse printed with white flood for interior mount. If its "see through" it's just got a perf-look print to it. But I only eat at like.. two fast food places.
  8. Look at these LEMONS))))))

NICE! My girlfriend would be super stoked to have a lemon tree in our yard. I might come steal yours!
  9. 9000s Banding After 10 Ft

Not familiar with your machine, but like someone else said it looks like ink starvation. On the printer I experience it on, it happens if there's a problem with low ink, bad filters, or if I have an air leaks or vacuum system problem.
  10. CDL File Conversion

www.FileSpazz.com works surprisingly well.. ha wait I thought you meant a corel file. Signlab files = fun stuff. If someone can't get it for you let me know.
  11. Seal 62 Base

    Is the outlet working?
  12. Cutting Alumalite

The fletcher won't cut all the way through it.. not without several passes. You can score and pop it, then cut the other face if you have to do it that way. I prefer cutting it with a table saw, panel saw, etc. Dust is easier to clean up than PVC dust too.
  13. Gas below $3 per gallon in New Jersey, how about by you...

Paid $3.73/gal for Diesel yesterday. I think regular was around $3.07. But I put less than 14 gallons in my tank and had over 500 on my trip. 38mpg average per tank. I love my little TDI. Don't miss my old F350.. 35+50 tanks. 11mpg. Shoot me in the face.
  14. engine turn and reg. marks

place newfangled easy to read classic white vinyl w/ reg marks printed on them over the existing old dank gross hard to read engine turn marks. or place tape/white vinyl over the spots that the marks are printing if that's an option for you.
  15. Best used vinyl printer for stickers?

the best used printer is one that still prints..
  16. Envision 375 Packing Instructions

I think all of the foam blocks were to go between the inner and outer cartons.. Unless they go on the top of the plotter in the inner carton. I can't remember, my memory is :bushmill:
  17. Envision 375 Packing Instructions

if that's the envision for the edge.. Inside the inner carton, take out the cardboard rectangle that sits on top of the plywood sheet. The plywood sheet is screwed to the bottom of the plotter with four screws, they each attach near the feet (which fit through holes in the plywood)... You...
  18. System for naming/archiving files

Everything is alphabetical, not by date. If we organize by date it's in the customers folder to organize their projects better. Pretty much put them in the order you'd want to look for them by.. "Who ordered it? When did they order it? What was it?"
  19. Is there a better way? (I am sure there is)

I imagine it would need a take up that doesn't just pick up the slack but keeps some tension on it. Even printing mags on the gerber edge with punch/sprocket feed sometimes takes a hands on approach to avoid a mess.
  20. Issue in Illustrator

You may consider a faster hard drive, or getting two disks. There's a company that sells a bracket to fit two drives in the minis.
