  4. colorspan 72UVR cyan heads out of spec

Here.. If they look like the lines on the left, all the calibrations in the world won't put that head in spec.. it needs some love or a replacement. If they look nice and clean like the lines on the right, but the automatic calibrations aren't getting it close enough you need to do a manual...
  5. I just had to letter a vehicle in all Comic Sans

I had to do an entire project in Papyrus one time. They requested it but I showed it to them in a different type style. They asked to see it in Papyrus as they had requested, so I quickly flipped it to Papyrus without adjusting anything to compensate the spacing.. they approved it. (several...

  7. Vinyl that can be used as Dry Erase & sticks to painted walls?

Just call your vendor, they should have a few options. I know we have a white dry erase vinyl, and a clear dry erase laminate that we keep in stock. You'll probably just need to laminate your wall vinyl with the dry erase lam.
  8. Looking for Hole Punch

I can't imagine a hole punch would be much better than using a drill press.. but I could be mistaken. I don't know much about working with that thin metal though.
  9. Uh Oh, It's Starting to Happen Here Too...

I meant having the customer export it as a PDF for you. If they didn't provide it in a good format they get to try again. I don't play games like that with files.. unless I screwed up and don't want anyone to know.

  12. Gerber Venting....

You're using an old printer. Those are the hoops you jump through to keep it running, am I right? I've broken a gerber bomb site before but some CA glue fixed it. The napa shocks work and fit perfectly, but they aren't the same part so yeah, you're going to pay more to gerber. That's how it...
  13. Anyone Else Enjoy the photos on the back of Fellers Catalogs?

I guess it's better than the real estate agents who haven't changed their photos on their marketing materials for 20 years. You don't even recognize them in person.
  14. Things they don't tell you about UV flatbed printers

What printer are you talking about?
  15. UV lamp life

500-600 hours before they are dim enough to cause print artifacts. I've never noticed color shift or adhesion issues though the ink can feel "soft", and banding starts to be more apparent. In my experience.

  18. Since when is this kosher?

Those PVC frames are very strong if they are assembled correctly. They are supposed to be screwed together. The horizontals should also push in nearly four inches in to those verticals.
  19. Since when is this kosher?

Well those PVC frames generally don't have any posts in them at all. But they do have horizontals connecting them in that window you can see the 4x4 through.. and then they are screwed in place. Dropping 4x4's in the ground and sliding the PVC over them doesn't seem inappropriate, but not...
