ummm, did you try asking your tech what to print it at? not to be mean, but he's the pro and we're just a buncha internet trolls. should be picking his brain, and then sharing the juicy bits with us to make fun-of. I print on it at approx. 240degrees. (HP latex printer)

Lol Yeah, instruction manual says that you need to have material in the machine for it to work. Was this problem happening when the tech was there? I highly doubt any tech worth his salt would load a cutter incorrectly.

on the Jv3 you're allowed to unplug and re-insert the cartridge, and then the machine prompts you to "add remain?" & enter a value of 0 up to 30cc.

just get some resettable chips.

ink build-up maybe? find the mechanism that controls the wiper action. i've pulled some trophies (large hunks of ink, largest about the size of a folded bottlecap) out of the gears on my Jv3 that had built-up over time. A toothbrush and some cleaning solution, and some TLC will also help clear...
