i'm also a fan of taking a foam swab that is saturated in cleaning solution, and giving the head one-clean-wipe across the face of the printhead just like your wiper blade would. don't scrub, and repeat if desired, but don't reuse the same side of the foam swab.

get the GOOD magnetic material, print on vinyl, and apply to magnet material before you trim to shape... and you'll never have, or had, any issues like myself. EZPZ
