Figured it out. I had a belkin usb hub plugged in and it was somehow interfering with my graphtec. Weird.

I cannot get my computer to "see" my graphtec. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit. I have downloaded the drivers from graphtec's website and its still doesn't see my cutter. I'm using flexi, and it just tells me "cannot open port" Anyone have a driver that works or a workaround?

We ended up putting double sided tape on all sides of ours. Worked pretty good,

I recently had my office ceiling done with blow in insulation. They charged me like $300.00 and were done in less than an hour. It was worth the money to not have to crawl up there and try and do it myself.

I've been using it for some time now, I've had it pull out of channels on chevy vans, but I've never had the problems you are describing. I've used it on fleets of tow trucks, short run decals and many other purposes.

I never used to flip my belt, I would just run the laminate differently around the roll. With my quickmount III I actually preferred reverse wound lam.

Trial and error is nice, but I think a class is necessary to learn the basics. A good class will let you get your hands on a variety of different materials and give you pointers on different techniques. Some of the wrap professionals have years of experience that you could never get with trial...
