If the banner is that heavy OR when banner material is sometimes just "sticky" enough to offer a little resistance (and noise) when peeling off the roll (but not actually "sticky"), I think you should unroll just enough material to not hit the floor, and keep helping it out by unrolling material...

Does your G4 have an intel chip, or is that a G5 thing? If you could run virtual PC, or load XP through parallells... than you may need a PC version of Corel, but they may have crossgrade/upgrade pricing.

Yes I do. Many people who don't consider themselves driver location experts, may in fact be PNC1000 experts, or at least know something helpful. They may never click on this thread. Old Paint is a Corel/Roland cutting combination expert, so a "Cutting on Roland PNC1000 from Corel" thread...

so, are you letting the software panel the job? I always hate trusting the software to do that, so I take the whole image for the side of a wrap, and then, in photoshop, & set the "canvas size" to be the size of my first print. I have it crop to the right side if I want to start on the right...

can't imagine why it's happenning... but if the rest of the print is fine... ...can you afford to print panels that are about 1-1/2" narrower then your normal print width capacity? ...in this case you could program in an extra 1-1/2" overlap, & then expect this issue to continue, but...
