i got a call from a designer that asked me for a lighweight flat substrate to apply the signs she got from another source.
i said....why not just apply them?
"they cost too much to just apply when they are going to paint in a few months"
wow i said, then i offered a few suggestions...
as soon as AT&T doesnt suck here, i'll have an iphone. Until then i have a BB storm 2. kinda hate it...but i like the BB interface.
Droid is WAY faster than my BB though...no comparison. I wish i went droid.
i just did some of these...use a Big Squeegee to laminate a layer of 3164 on the backs...did 300 2" round decals in no time.... just be mindful of the reg. marks and they are no problemo.
i couldnt seem to make this work, but i did buy some ulano film for our Epson r2400 and it prints beautiful positives with no special ink.
yes i can see light through them (not opaque at all)...but the uv inhibitors in the stock ink allow it to make awesome positives.
i was all worried...
one...left shoulder. couldn't find a pic.
I've never left anything I spent any considerable time with "stock". Why would I leave me stock either?
some day i'll get something done By Joe Capobianco, Paul Booth or one of his mignions, or Tim Harris or....
i use the top of our dry mount press. very smooth and flat. and i found that the FDC lam i had worked WAY better than 210.
the fdc was simply a push and go application. perfect every time. 210 was a PIA.
