40 bucks a year gets you a really really nice smugmug account. unlimited uploads, great interface, etc.
i love smugmug, had a pro account when i was the track photog for a local short track and with a "pro" account could sell directly from there, etc. also their printing service is WAY...
i watch it..of course. it's certainly pumped with a little TV drama and all, but still worth watching for die hard race fans like me. The american logger/ax men type shows are still my favs though. :)
bowman gray is soooo damn flat. i'd hate that place. we race at a little 1/4 mile bullring...
sometimes when i save from illy and open in flexi there is a mask that 'holds everything together" i direct select the background area and clear the mask then i can go in and change stuff.
for race cars and such, shinerite rules, imo.
but i'm moving everything to oracal 651 for cut vinyl, because it last way better outside, imo. cheaper to stock just one line of cal. vinyl.
imo it's a little better because it has just the right amount of 'flex' to conform to uneven surfaces. i used it to apply tiled unlaminated panels totalling 77x96 inches yesterday....went perfectly.
ive printed 2 rolls worth of stuff on 3621...no issues. anything different there? is the shop cold or esp warm or humid or something?
i use the matte equiv to gcvp (cant remember what VW calls it)
not very often that someone with a 30" printer has that kinda issue. i print banner with short...
take photos of the lights yourself...manipulate/vectorize/tweak...
print and cut.
the team that pits next to me did that....they wanted some vette stuff and five star/arp doesnt do that. worked for them.
i hate the things....stock cars don't have 'lights'.
ive been on almost every day...just not as much. busier than i expected to be as i'm so new at all this....learning more and more all the time. how ya been?
got that a few months ago..it SUCKED. i use www.prevx.com when i can't get the usual anti malware software to get rid of something. has never let me down.
find a used Roland sp-300 and get your feet wet...will probably spend 5-6k on the printer and get a big squeegee and a roll of laminate and you are good to go :)
i have a vp-300i and love it...sure i wish i had a 54" printer, but i can cover all my expenses VERY easily and that was more...
