im very new to color management as well...and did EXTENSIVE searching...hours. what worked best for me was to add the Roland color system library to my design program and convert spot colors in my RIP.
searching those phrases will give you a few great threads regarding converting spot colors...
bump just to say that im WICKED slow. i gotta get out there and market myself more. as soon as race car season is over (couple weeks) some new postcards and perhaps knock on a few doors too!.
p.s. im starting to begin to learn to screenprint too...hopefully i can get that to a sustainable...
make it 1" smaller than the sign...WAY easier and doesnt change anything, imo. no need to crowd anything important to the edge. way more forgiving too with a reasonable border. mounting like that will stretch the print as much as 1/8th...
With all the recent Big Squeegee vids, I felt it necessary to do one to show how great the cradle tool is as well. It's half the money of the regular BS and works great!....
I used it today to mount 10 double sided coros in no time at all...(well except stopping to upload this..heh)...
i always just feed out a couple more inches before i sheet cut.
and i had a laminated print curl on me yesterday, first time. i think i didnt "start" it in the laminator just right and it got all weird for the first inch or so.
well put. Na$car mismanaged and sometimes neglected its short track program to the point that it's now on life support. in 1996 my home track produced the "national champion"...he scored like 160 grand for it! there were just over 100 nascar weekly tracks.
now there is HALF that many...
