I had a devilbliss dessicant filter for a while, but we didn't have anything before that to remove the bulk of the moisture. We ended up changing the dessicant out roughly twice a week which was honestly a pain in the butt. That looks like a nice setup Max.

Melamine is tough to stick to as said above. Not sure if adhesion promotors work on that stuff with UV digital and/or if it's even possible with the product you're selling.

Have you tried printing and mounting high tack adhesive versions of vinyl? General Formulations and Arlon both make some nice high tack media. Might give you the additional grip you need so even a calendared media/lam combo doesn't shrink enough to lift off. PVC can be puzzling to mount onto...

UV glue would give near perfect/perfect results. We've had success just using acrifix and using a pneumatic press to squeeze the parts together. That worked for our workflow as the part was only 7"H x 11"W and it was getting married to a small base. With the pneumatic press, the bubbles...

So CMYK in one layer, then you bump the height up and run white in multiple passes to build up? In bidirectional I'm guessing to get it to dome up?

I wouldn't think laminate would help on any foam pvc (komatex/sintra). The base substrate is still soft so it's still going to get wrecked.
