Thanks for the info guys. So Today I was able get the marks read manually from the Graphtec. Now my issue is that my cut file get sent to the cutter and when it cuts out the parts they are scaled up by a factor of 4 so my original file was a rectangle that was 4 x 7 and when it cut them out it...
Today I got the following error when trying to scan cut out decals from my new HP L26500.
I tried putting scotch tape over the marks and tried putting darker marks on it. Any idea what i'm doing wrong. I'm using Onyx 10.2 and have followed the settings from onyx's website for the graphtec...
Okay thanks very much guys I appreciate your input. I'm not planning on doing anything right now with the equipment as we are still using it. Just getting an idea as to what it is worth.
I use an Epson 7890 With Accurip and it works great. I was wondering if it is possible to print film on an my L26500 in the rare case I need to be able to print a piece of film that is bigger on both sides than 24 inches that the epson can print.
You have to crank up the vacuum? I haven't ad that issue at all so far or at least that I know of. What problems were you seeing that made you want to crank up the vacuum?
I started out learning CNC programming and found out that it is not that hard. I think it really depends on your CAD/CAM program. We use Artcam Insignia they have some cheaper versions now that you can basically build with what you want or will need. If I had one piece of advice it would be...
I don't want to steal this thread but I'm interested in Summa Cutters and this seems like a good place to learn something. Will the D140 score .010" Polycarbonate for making decals? Also is there a used market for Summa cutters if so how well do they hold their value?
I just went through this for our web store and our manual Internet transactions and talk about a pain in the ***. It involved first a 120 question questionnaire that took about an hour to complete and then a second follow up phone call that was another 30-45 min. It was a lot and now we are...
Okay, We had used our Gerber Edge FX to print these signs. We print on Oracal 951. Is there a latex vinyl that is transparent and comparable to Oracal 951?
I saw this printer at graph expo this year in Chicago. It has a beautiful white ink and great print speeds. The only downside was the price tag. Close to 100k for a pinch roller machine in my mind is a lot.
We just went through the same dilemma. We really liked both printers but in the end the HP won because of the instant dry and being able to laminate right off of the printer. Mine will be installed the end of this month so hopefully I will have more insight after the first of December. Will keep...
Man in jealous. We are going to have ours installed the week after thanksgiving. We still have to run the two 220v to the office it's going in. I can't wait to start printing in it. This is our first brand new and not just new to us wide format printer. From the samples we ran the quality looks...
