Hey I just registered to attend my first SGIA Expo and was wondering where everyone is staying at? And where to find the best deals on hotels or packages for flights and hotels.
Yeah. That was my first problem. Just using a regular patch cable. Man I tell you this video net crap is the most sensitive printer protocol I have ever seen. Thank god it was only for ColorSpan. I'm glad I'm able to print sellable signs on this printer now. Hopefully I can learn enough between...
I also can't figure out how to turn off the auto cut feature i'm trying to send prints to my graphtec cutter to cut out but it auto cuts off the material after done printing and there isn't enough material at the end to run through the plotter.
I think that's what it might come down to. I'm going to price out some mid range computer parts and a copy of xp from newegg tonight and see what the cost of building one would be. SignBurst can you PM me a quote for an xp machine. Something with an i3 processor in it and maybe 8 gig ram. Thanks.
I've tried running it on Windows 7 32bit because HP had told me that the VideoNet Driver for Vista 32 bit version would also work for windows 7 32 bit but I cannot get the printer and computer to "talk" so I'm down to trying an old XP machine even though it is pretty slow. but if need be I will...
Yeah I'm afraid if I try to get the windows 7 pro and run it in xp mode it won't work because it's the protocol (videonet) that isn't supported in windows 7. Thanks for the link to windows xp. I can't believe it's still that expensive.
Is it still possible to purchase copies of windows XP for a clean install? I need a good computer to run my Onyx 10.2 with my colorspan 72UVR which needs VideoNet and that will only work on XP. I have tried googling it but I can't find anything that looks legit.
Thanks.
I'm wondering how I can get my blacks to print blacker? I'm new to this whole rip thing and when I print the sample print that comes with onyx called "wine and cheese" the blacks come out very rich and deep. But when I print my vector artwork that was designed in Corel X6 they come out dull and...
We are in the process of researching CNC machines now. I knew of all the major brands out the i.e MultiCamm, AXYZ, and the such but there are so many other smaller brands out there that seem to build really nice machines and there is definitely a price difference when not paying for that major...
I am looking at a cnc machine with their own proprietary vision system because the icut software being 10-15k to add to a router seems like a lot where the router i'm looking at they want about 5k to add a vision reading system. I will find out if they can accept enroute as a program to run the...
Does anyone have this technology on there CNC machine. We are looking into routers with this type of capabilities and I'm wondering what kind of success you have had with the technology.
