Seal walked me through tensioning the side I'm having problems with. I did some test runs and it's improved, but it's not gone. My concern isn't this mounting job as much as it is H2 wrap I've got to lam in a few days where I'd Ideally like to run that guy in as little pieces as possible...
The top brake is very taught normally. I just loosened it and ran a few feet and all it did was add other problems so I'll go back and retighten that. after the initial pinch everything is fine, once I begin running I slowly see the media bunching up on the control panel side of the laminator...
I'm mounting the tape to Adhesive Backed Vinyl w/out kraft paper and I can't run more than 8ft before I get creases in the media. I'm not a fan of this laminator in any shape, form or fashion, but it's what I've got to work with.

I run a 160gb 7200 rpm drive that I use as a scratch disk. I'm stepping up to 64bit Windows 7 on Monday and I'm curious how the 6 gigs of ram I have will fair. We've been running a Beta copy of Windows 7 for a few weeks and I'm very happy w/ it.
i'm not sure it allows you to conveniently contour cut. i'm on an old graphtec so i have to 'fudge' my print and cut work.
Scanvec makes cutting master as a plug in to illustator or corel. here's a general link to it on graphtec's site. http://www.graphtecamerica.com/FAQs/cutting_master2.html
Why not skip Flexi entirely and just use cutting master from graphtec to cut? I've completely abandoned Flexi in lieu of Cutting Master driven by Illustrator. I was a diehard Scanvec fan for a long time and I can't be happier not using it now.
I couldn't get illy CS4 to work w/ cutting master 2 several months ago, only CS3 works for me. it's kinda been a hassle as I'd like to move on to CS4 but haven't because I thought it was a no go.
I'm running a 30" graphtec and I love it. I'm not using flexi or software that needs a dongle. It runs off of a Scanvec plug in for Illustrator CS3 that's free from Graphtec's website.
