Business as usual here since my shop is at my home. I spent this morning in town stocking up on extra misc. supplies in anticipation of vendors having issues. I have enough inventory and work to do, I just need to make sure I keep enough shop supplies on hand to make it happen.
Without...
I posted this in another thread, but in case you missed it, it seems to be beyond serious....there's a 5 page .pdf file you can download to determine what is considered 'life sustaining".
They claim they'll be taking action for non compliance beginning Saturday morning.
Amidst all that, the...
A major black eye for Pennsylvania residents at 8 pm tonight. There's a 5-page .pdf file you can download to determine what they consider to be a "life-sustaining" business.
They claim they will begin taking action against non-compliance starting Saturday morning.
Wow, just wow...
Ahem....remember Nashville? First the tornadoes, then the virus panic. Sad, but not much has been said about them lately, but I'm sure they're hurting pretty badly.

Very little news on the 5.7 earthquake in Salt Lake City yesterday. Nowhere to be found on the major news sites without having to search for it. That would have made front page news for at least the good part of the week....but absolutely nothing.
Now, it's tornadoes in Texas today. Here in...
I'm testing to see if it adds another 2020. As I type, there are only two "2020s" within the quote brackets above...and there is no "2020" typed after this word: TRUMP.

ELECTRICAL:
Make sure your service panel is capable of handling your electrical needs, and that it is properly grounded. Don't settle for a rinky little 110v welder with a 10% duty cycle, invest in a industrial-rated welder.

I had the same, and I converted it over to magnetic note card holders since priorities seemed to change on an hourly basis and often required a lot of erasing and re-writing. But even at that, it got to be too much of a challenge.
I'm not knocking the idea...if it works, then keep doing what...
One further note here....
I spent a good number of years working for family businesses. I observed that the greatest source of friction often arose when "old school" wisdom and tradition tried to mix with "new school" ideals and technology. They often mixed like oil and water.
From afar, I...
I'm a Gen Xer and I was also old school, to my own detriment. Currently, I'm a one-man show but I have plans to eventually include children and grandchildren as I press forward. My old methods were fine for just me, but as we continue to grow, my "love affair" with that type of operation just...
I use Workflow Max. Fairly simple to use, yet more than adequate to cover all our needs.

I p!$$ed off a waitress yesterday....my bad. It was fairly busy, and as we sat down, I asked her if this was the "storm before the calm" (all our restaurants and bars were to close at 3 pm yesterday).
Needless to say, I made it up to her with a tip almost equivalent to our check.

A lot of those were for pest control...and they're still at our local WalMart. They basically attract the insects with the UV light and they trap them with a sticky board.
Believe it or not....many barbershops have a sanitizing UV lamp under their counter where they store the clippers, combs...
