  2. I'm worried...

I do like a happy ending. Almost as much as I like sharp scissors.
  3. Where to Buy Safe and the Best Price?

Pretty sure digiprint has a Europe version so I’d take a look there. General rule of thumb is if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
  4. OCÉ ColorWave 500 MFP

We had ours about 4 years but I don’t think it ever needed a service call. Sturdy machines. They use a lot of the same tech in the Colorado
  5. OCÉ ColorWave 500 MFP

I think the 500 is the same as the 700 (we had the 700 for a while, great machine, run over 200k sqtf) but the 500 doesn’t have the adjustable head height so can’t be used for thicker media’s. (I could be wrong). it’ll run those drawings for you absolutely no problem but not sure how well it’ll...
  6. Suggestions Recyclable Banner (or similar)

Checked the specs and the product I attached is a PVC free weldable banner material that is printable on UV and latex so would suit your latex. It is 1600 wide though at min (though assuming they will cut rolls for a price?)

  8. Suggestions Recyclable Banner (or similar)

Not sure about the recyclability but there’s a company in the UK that sends me an email once a week about their PVC free frontlit/mesh banner. Prices weren’t terrible either.
  9. New Profit Center For Your Sign Shop

I like less work and more money. We got ROI in a week on the flexa so I’d say that’s pretty magic. Gotta spend money to make money..
  10. New Profit Center For Your Sign Shop

When we invested in the flexa miura we managed to contain the can of worms that was the COVID pandemic. In June we beat our previous monthly sales record by 250% and couldn’t have done it without the flexa. Managed to get three or four huge contracts that wouldn’t have been possible if we had...
  11. New HP Latex 700 and 800 series - with White ink

I’d like to see the print speeds with and without white
  12. Outdoor Digital Media

I take it you mean orajet 3551? We used to use a LOT of it. It’s great for flat surfaces and is nice and easy to install. Wouldn’t use it for any wraps (pretty sure the spec sheet even mentions not to use it on curves) but it has been a while.
  13. News on any new HP latex printer?

Looks like many cats are out many bags
  14. Question Durable solution for concrete stickers?

Lots of vinyls specifically for concrete. A few outdoor floor lams too if you needed to stick em on the floor. We’ve tried a few and they worked great but they’re not cheap lol
  15. News on any new HP latex printer?

Think they were the 700 and 800 but I could be talking nonsense lol
  16. News on any new HP latex printer?

I did hear at least a couple of them will have white ink too
  17. Rant tshirts

In the UK it was general practice for a while (haven’t tried it for a while) for companies to not allow employees to hang up on people. Deemed rude etc. So any time I’d get a cold call that I deemed as nonsense I’d put them on hold. Did I mention that putting them on hold entailed me putting...
  18. Discussion January 2021...how did everyone do?

Odd month for us. UK in lockdown and schools closed (schools make a huge part of our small orders). So we’re “busy” and good cash flow but it’s also quiet as it’s all just large runs. Very little user intervention needed this month. But up from this month last year!
  19. Question Onyx/Summa barcode cut off after each sheet like Flexi?

Yep we use that all the time. We load a roll on the summa, it’ll cut one job, read the next then cut the completed one into the basket and continue working unattended.
