This probably is overkill for what you're looking for, but we use our CAD software (Sketchup Pro) and create renders with lighting effects applied to show halos and such for our clients to preview their exhibits in the proposal phase.
Core ID cards. We made our own using 3mm CNC Cut PVC and printed labels with a color coded general category printed at the top (Vinyl, Laminate, Banner, Translucent, Specialty) and we write in descriptions and part numbers underneath. Grimco has something similar...

Vander- do you have any experience with quartz heaters vs. a rotary heat press for sublimation? Pros/Cons. We have a 126" Rotary Press and are moving to a new location and don't have the room and would need to bring in additional electrical service to run it. Looking to see if there are any...
I found an excellent guide (5 part series) to dye sub printing here. I would highly recommend reading it before jumping into dye sub. Its very comprehensive and goes through just about every aspect.
Edit: The link for part 3 on the bottom of the part 2 page was bad... here is the corrected link
Just found this for you... I'm sure you'd be able to find a comparable product somewhere in Europe. Good Luck!

Reach out to BestBlanks.com which is a merchant member on Signs101. We have a 126" rotary heat press and use sublimation paper running between Direct Printed fabric to heat set the print, but it's not tacky. BestBlanks could probably advise you though.
I love this industry and like Gino said, there's a great satisfaction to be driving down the road and seeing a project you worked on. And now that my son is old enough to know what I do, its neat to point those out to him when we are driving around. I brought him in on a weekend to do some...
Not sure who to recommend in Canada but you should look for a wholesale wide format dye sublimation printer and have them quote you a lightweight polyester fabric.
Make sure that your business model can support buying a machine like that. In my opinion there are too many shops that want the flatbed because they feel like they can't do business without that technology and for the cool factor. Those machines are meant to do production work, not just...
I can advise on wide format dye sub. We have a 102" Mutoh 2628TD printing direct to fabric using Sensient Inks and heat set the ink using an AIT GFO-126 Rotary Heat Press. The one piece of advice I would tell you is that unless you have a business plan that can keep the machines running daily...
I haven't seen the "wooden nickels" used as a drink token, but it's an interesting idea. Keep in mind, your client may be able to do a simple google search and find the same pricing you have. May be easier to refer him to a promotional products partner if you have one in the area, and try to...
Hey J- cool product. Does it have Permanent Adhesive? How thick is the stock? Does it ship flat in 4x8 sheets or rolls? Can you buy 1 sheet at a time or do you have to buy it in lots of 5, 10, etc.
Thanks!
Have you looked on NASA's site? They have a huge library of High Res Hubble images. It may take some searching though. galaxy hi res - NASA Search Results
