I've done it. Works great. Just make sure the floor is super clean before applying the vinyl and make sure the edges are sealed. As always, test is first but it should be fine.
I wouldn't worry about that to much. You could probably have bout 10 - 20 of those out before noticing any problems.
Do you ever buy anything from All Graphics? They make wicked colour profiles for all the materials they carry and they give em to you for free - as long as you buy stuff from...
Awesome!!! It reminds me of the old built in vacuum that came with my house when I bought it. It's called the "easy flo" but the font kinda reads "easy ho". I'll have to take a pic. I laugh every time I look at it.
My tech was working on a printer somewhere in BC where the temp is -30º. The printer actually gave him a "it's too cold to operate" error. I guess the heat wasn't working in the guys shop.
Your material choice sounds about right and the polished concrete sounds like a pretty good working surface. I've seen floor graphics last a very long time and some only last a few days. The ones that fail are usually on a crappy surface or are subject to abuse such as something being dragged...
Well, I don't think I'll spend to much time watching this one. It wasn't bad but I'm not gonna go out of my way to follow it. I wouldn't mind doing some more work for them though!
I truly believe that every person working in a shop should take the time to learn a little bit about everyone else's position. ESPECIALLY the sales people. Learn about the process and what it takes to make it happen. This can only be beneficial. The more you know about how things are done...
I think I might check it out too. I did some work for that show just before xmas as their regular sign person was away on holidays. The story line sounds kinda cool.
Don't believe em!
Every once in a while I get a job that has to be awesome err, I mean absolutely perfect. I run this jobs in uni. Takes a little longer but not as long as printing it twice.
if they plan on replacing it that often why not consider using magnetics. Drytac makes a product ( I believe it's called Fero - it has metal in it) that you would install directly to the ceiling. Put your prints on magnetic and stick em on. Easily replaceable. I would recommend testing it...
Who cares?!
Do you think grocery store A gets upset when you shop at grocery store B? No. They're just glad that you shop there when you do.
Take the money when you can. If you didn't get the job, than it wasn't yours to begin with so at the end of the day, you haven't lost anything.
After getting burned enough times on going out to surveys, I decided to tell people straight up that I have a minimum charge for surveys. People can't expect me to go running around all over the city just to find out that they've gone with the competition. Telling them there is a charge up...
I have had zero luck using my laminator to apply tape to cut vinyl. Always wants to wrinkle. I use an empty core to push the tape on. Works good for me although it is a pita.
I was having the same issue with large files. Tried new cable and even a new network card. The card helped a bit but not much. My old PC died so I got a new one and the problem has been solved. It's definitely a data flow issue. Open your task manager and click on network (the one that...
wow. i think that was my neighbours band doing Cocaine. they suck!
here's my new favourite guitar player right now. Yeah - it's pretty tongue in cheek but the whole band just absolutely rips. http://www.steelpantherrocks.com I've seen them twice in Vegas and not only do they rock but the...
