If you're using mill finish then painting you can use an epoxy to join the two pieces together.

I have 3 monitors also and the large Intous4 I have a button on the tablet that let's me toggle between mapping the whole tablet to each individual screen and then a fourth setting with all three mapped on the tablet. I love it. Don't use the mouse at all these days.

I don't think it's a stuck button because both my laptop and desktop are doing the same thing. (My computer profile is synchronized, that's why I assume it's a setting or preference) I figure I must have done some sort of keyboard shortcut on accident that enabled this.
