The JV33 capping station is a consumable part. We ran a JV3 for almost 10 years and changed the capping station twice I think. We are changing the JV33 every 6 months (or less). It is a very simple fix. I would recommend keeping a spare capping station on hand at all times.

Sure there is. It's in the Advanced Options Tab of the RIP under Color Settings. A few people have asked you what profile and rendering intents you're using. Without this information, it is hard to troubleshoot/diagnosis your issue.

Well, it looks like the issues in your initial post have gone away (at least on the print shown here). What are you heat settings? The way the ink is pooling up on your most recent photo, I think you need to raise your pre- and print-temps. You also probably want to up your print-res. 360x540...

I'm not familiar with your printer, but we routinely print full rolls (up to 63" x 164') of 13 oz banner overnight with no issues on a Mimaki JV33. Shouldn't be a problem.

I print on laminate as well. Calendared for temporary jobs and Cast laminated with itself for long-term jobs.
