Boy - Hate to be a doubting Thomas, but that seems like one to stay away from! Suppose it doesn't work right, what could that mean?! Mesh banner seems like a good choice, but man...
Sounds like the default roll size for the media is too small for the art, and it's scaling it. I always check to see that the ratio is 1:1. If it isn't I know something is up.
I can't find this font. I found variations, but it HAS to be "Amphion Condensed Italic". I can't find anywhere that sells this specific Amphion!
:thankyou:
Forklifts ruin floor enamel. To complain about a floor graphic not standing up to that would be like having your car painted and complaining that a key scratches it.
Surprisingly it's not expensive

I wonder if it would work with pigmented inks?
Your red may actually more true, but with less ink saturation. That color break is not a deep red. It borders on having an orange hue. What does a gray-scale look like from each printer? My guess is his has a magenta cast, and yours is either true or slightly cyan.
Is changing the heat not affecting it, or is the heat simply not changing at all?
I'm sure a head collision does not help anything at all. It simply looks like there are ink limit and/or heat issues making it worse, but perhaps that is not the case at all.

Canned profiles rarely work well. You may need to at least adjust the ink limits for the various medias. Have you had much success with the print outcomes in the past, and something changed? Or has this been an ongoing problem?
Gloss vinyls can be tricky with heat settings. Try going opposite extremes with high & low heat, and see if one tends to look better. Are you using a generic profile for different medias? That will leave you having a hard time.
That looks like gloss scrim banner, for which ink limits and heat settings can play a large roll in getting a nice print. How does it look on matte pressure sensitive vinyl or something else that has printed well?
How are you going about it? I create 3" box swatches in Illy and color one pms and one cmyk break of the color. Then make moves after seeing the output. Usually I hit the color with one of four new boxes with different breaks after seeing the initial output.
