  1. What font is this?

It's hard to tell since most typefaces overlap each other in style. But oldgoatroper seemed to have a sound guess.
  2. Print From Photoshop/Illustrator?

Drivers. That's what you only need. With them, you'll be able to solve your problem on printing on those printers Justin.
  3. My first submission.

The inverted pyramid style is only good for technical uses. With this banner, it doesn't look very nice. But the overall design is okay. With Bill's format, it would look better. I just don't like the blurred characters. I don't know if that's intended or not.
  4. Another Logo with the Ribbon Effect

Very impressive logo. I like how the typeface appear to be hand stroked but are actually ribbons. And the pendant (I'm not so sure if it is) becomes a very aesthetic design there. Excellent work.
  5. Another completed hand made Sign

Great sign! And I'd expect you've seen some awesome reactions along the way as well. Very good job.
  6. Absolutely 100% Green Newbie to Printing Help Appreciated

Why would he tell you to design in RGB all the time? By discounting CMYK, he shows that he probably doesn't understand half of what he's telling you.
  7. Retro HVAC logo and Ribbon Script Effect

The logo is really great. You have chosen quite a relevant typography that does not capture too much attention but is very much fit for the logo.
  8. Who offset prints here? Question on charges

$75-100/hour is quite a reasonable rate range for that work.
  9. Logo design for you to destroy

Nice final output. Way better than the first two which, for me, don't seem to be a design for a design studio. Sorry for that.
  10. Recycling Ink Cartridges

The Target by me also accepts them for recycling, but I don’t think it goes towards any charity and all you get back for it is knowing you recycled something to help the environment. I’ll have to look into Staples sometime though; I could always bring ten in there then take the rest to Target...
  11. Small Printers....

I recommend the sp540v that Grafx mentioned. It tends to be a bit more pricey, but the results are worth it in my opinion.
  12. Reverse Cutting

I believe Signlab has a mirror function if you toggle around with it.
  13. which ink/media for photos/tradeshow graphics?

No, it’s defiantly the laminate that determines the gloss. I agree with the previous posters though in that high gloss won’t work well in this setting. Is there any way you could show him an example so that he can actually see the difference and how it interacts with light to them?
