  1. Arlon 6000XRP vs 3m 180c

my vote goes to Arlon - for the price break it is well worth it to use this product. I feel it looks smoother after it has set for a while as well and I can never get past the lines that are always there on the 3M media from its air egress channels.
  2. Glow in the Dark Vinyl

    looks pretty cool!
  3. SP-300 - 2 new heads - wont accept head rank

get a trained tech to install the heads.
  4. Best canvas, window, air release material to use w SP300v

I like the Arlon products - 4560GTX is a favorite in our shop for the air release vinyl. For heat transfer - 80% of what we manufacture is made with Quickprint from Imprintables Warehouse - Mike Koval is a member here and a sales rep for them. I think he could get you a sample to test out.
  5. Looking for reviews of low end heat presses

Hotronix all the way - I am amazed by people that get a cheap press and then blame everything but the press when their garments come out crappy and the print comes off of it. I see all the time that businesses will invest in the best products and equipment and when it is time to get the heat...
  6. CutContour in Versaworks

I would say without looking at your graphic that you have applied the CutContour color to the outline of all the graphics in your file. If you can post the file in question, we can better determine what is going on.
  7. Anybody doing the Roland Webinars?

Dennis - what kind of file prep are you looking for? I have several videos using CorelDraw to show how to setup the graphic for using in Versaworks.
  8. Glow in the Dark Vinyl

    :cool1:
  9. Profile question

GCVP with some modifications to it. Have you checked the manufacturers website to see if they have specific profiles for your printer?
  10. roland

does it go away? have you had any maintenance done on it? are you a new user? too many questions left out there.....
  11. Grey has a redish hue

TRUTH! :goodpost: - you might look into spending the 2K to get a i1 and the publisher software and create profiles yourself. It has a bit of a learning curve but is not bad once you get the hang of it.
  12. Anybody doing the Roland Webinars?

Dana - are they going to finish and post the joint webinars with Xrite? I know one of them did not record properly but it was a great source of info!
  13. Glow in the Dark Vinyl

Tim, why not post what the media is so we all can see it?
  14. Shop Race Car Wrap...

  15. Just bought my first Roland!

they are real workhorses - you will love it!
  16. Versacam SP-300 color issues

It could be just the profile
  17. URGENT! Overspray Issue with Cyan

Head soak - I pinch off the tubes from the bottom of the capping station and then fill it with cleaning solution. Next put the head into that and allow it to sit there for at least an hour to dissolve and loosen any dried ink etc. Once you are done, un pinch the lines and run a normal cleaning...
  18. Opinion on Color from Signs365

I would believe that they could guarantee an exact match of a CMYK color - it is easy enough to accomplish with any RIP software. I do not believe that there is G7 certification with digital printing. It is a certification with offset printing.
  19. Another cartoon project.

I wish I had a tenth of your talent!
