I have seen similar issues with a few deflected or clogged nozzles. weird thing was on that - it showed up with certain colors and only some of the time. got the nozzles clear and no problems since.

+1 for the Universal. We have a 35watt unit and it runs day in and day out. Better software interface than the Epilog as well.

your print setting from Corel may be the culprit on that one.

we ran a 2 week analysis of our ink use from all 4 printers in the shop and came up with a running average of $0.22 per square foot. I use $0.25 as a low cost estimation for jobs sine then and $0.50 for higher coverage.

It will stop printing before the cartridge runs out. Do not worry, it will not affect your colors as the machine will not let the ink run out.

They are different companies. From what I understand, action illustrated was formed from a previous employee of DAS that had some disagreements with them.

Versaworks does not have a profiling software built into it. You will need either the iOne publish pro package or the iOne publish pro2 package. I have the older model and it works fine. You will need the profile creator program that comes with it though.

you might want to check out Action Illustrated as well. I think it is just as good and better pricing on most of it.

did you check the dampers to see if there is ink in them? That would be an easy indicator if the line ran dry.
