I installed a new capping station assembly on my JV33 a few years ago and it would not line up no matter what I did. I had to put a shim on on the capping station where the head hits it to make sure it lined up properly. It seemed like a stupid thing to have to do but I didn't have any other...
I've used Art Sign Works several times in the past. www.artsignworks.com
They have always done a great job. I'm not sure how their prices compare to others but the quality of the signs has always been superb.
I have a good story. One day I had a lady call me and ask if I could put vinyl lettering onto a storage bin she just purchased at a thrift store. She said her son was in a band and that she wanted to put the band name on the storage bin. I am in a band and know a lot of others in a band so I...
What blades does everyone use? I've tried the blades that Fellers sells but I always have issues with them. I have a Mimaki plotter and usually just purchase Mimaki blades. They cost quite a bit but they work well.
First you need to "Break Artistic Text" from the "Arrange" drop down menu. Grab all of the text using the Pick Took. Then you need to "Convert to Curves" which is also in the "Arrange" drop down menu. Grab all of the text again and then click weld.
"My goodness, but aren't you the end-all ?? You mention my name more times in one post than I post in a whole day."
I mentioned your name 6 times in my post. Your last post was your 7th post today just on this thread. It is pointless to argue with someone who can't count and then tries to make...
There are 2 common things I see in Robert's threads. The first is how Robert finishes his first post. For instance, this one is, "If so, let’s have a private conversation." Robert is not telling anyone that they NEED his services and they MUST take him up on his offer. Robert pays to advertise...
You are a troll. If you don't like Robert Armerding's posts, you don't have to be a jerk. You started posting on this thread only to be an ass. He pays this site to make posts whether you want his services or not.
I did 2 of the test prints and have attached pictures. I did take the pictures without the lights on because the glare blocked a lot of the image. I am using Wasatch 7.0. I changed the image configuration to None. I changed it to printer profile Dual CMYK 1440x1440. I am printing with a Mimaki...
Thank you for all of this information. I've been working 10-12 hours a day in the heat so I haven't had a chance to try any of this out. I should get a chance in the next few days and I will report back!
I've owned 2 Mimaki printers. Right now I am running a JV33-130. I've always struggled trying to print a true red color. I didn't think it was possible. I ordered some Oracal 5600 material in and I downloaded the color profile through their site.
I printed a test print and somehow it is...
We have UPS headaches almost daily. Our local UPS hub has been mismanaged for years. Now with Covid, they have something to blame all their issues on which they are fully taking advantage of. They put our packages on 3-4 different routes depending on who knows what. Sometimes we get deliveries...
Thank you for the information. I have done a few wraps but nothing like this before. I guessed that's how it would need to be done with the seams. I'm also working with printed vinyl so I don't want to over stretch. It also doesn't help that it is a straight color instead of a textured design...
I have to wrap the back of this bus and was wondering if I could get some tips. I have to wrap a couple inches above the license plate area and down from there. I have a couple of big concerns. First, how do I wrap inside the license plate cave? It goes in pretty deep and there are a lot of...
