What I have done is adjust the step adjustment on the printer then used the output size compensation in Flexi to correct the length of the print. Between doing this and lowering my fixer heat setting has made a big difference when I was having a similar problem.

What RIP are you using? Have you checked the accuracy of the print length and adjusted the step adjustment or the output size compensation?

We do it all the time.

We had a similar problem and have lowered our fixer heater to 35 and the front heater to 45 and it made a huge difference.

Oh yea I agree but I just need the exact same text. It's probably custom anyway.

If I'm going that far I might as well just draw the whole thing from scratch.

Jayhawk - I did notice a big difference when I bought my Inferno from Signburst. It cuts the time down but it's still anoying. I guess it must just take Flexi time to deal with all the points like Trant said. I guess I have lived with it all these years. Thanks for the info.

Are you using a USB cable to conect to the cutter. I was told that USB doesn't support the "Show Me" function. I hate that too!
