    don't know about Roland based printers, but on their web site there is a video (the rightmost on the bottom of the home page) titled magic ink - that one is a Mutoh draftstation printing with Sepiax - I built one myself, you can come and see it in person if you want - I'm in Glendale.

    turn off the paper size check - you know the paper size you're printing on - the printer doesn't need to know. See if it helps.

    EO75 comes when the head carriage stumbles upon something and stops moving - might be dirty rail or something - I turn the printer off, hand force the carriage back and forth few times, turn the printer back on - works every time - guess until it stops working again. BTW its RJ900.

    are you on windows or mac? try to print with the driver - no wasatch - to see if it's the rip or the printer. and turn the paper size check off - you know the size, the printer doesn't need to now.

    you're gonna have a lot of it - just learn to ignore it. Most of the people will actually try to be constructive. So what is it you planning printing on? Size? Outdoor/indoor applications? The answers will narrow your search.

    What's the diameter of the dome? Water transfer sounds like the best solution - I do print my own films - but size might be an issue - my film is only 44" wide - PM me if you want to talk. You can check out 3ddiping.com to see what I'm talking about.

    let's try it again - I just did it and wrote down the sequence: press menu, then right arrow twice - go to media set, press enter, then left arrow 3 times to get to mediainit - and choose off. that should do it. don't know what else to tell you.

    once you get the thing "ready to plot", push "menu" then right button go to "media set" and then from there choose "media width check" or something similar and choose "off". Not by the printer right now, but I'm sure I'm close.

    turn off the paper size check function - you don't need it - actually, nobody does. your media size will be set to 1080 mm. then just make sure you're printing on your paper, not outside of it.

    ??? 500K ??? I just did one for the heck of it - here is the cost / time breakdown: board $3 printing on Epson 9700 took under 4 minutes cutting by hand - under a minute let's say the total cost is $5 - $10 profit in 10 minutes is not a bad deal - it's $50 per hour ( counting incidentals)...

    there are junkyards selling parts for offset printers - you can find rollers there dirt-cheap - and the rest of assembly needed. Done that - built my own laminator years ago. the only thing you'll have to do is figure out the way to lift/lower the roller. no big deal.

    :thumb: have you tried to make and sell them? Under your brand? Why not? I built a flatbed printer for myself - now have 3 more to convert for clients. Would have to print *&*load of signs to make the same $$.

    it's not 1/4th of an inch - it's getting embarrassing :banghead: - I remember 25, not sure how many zeros, but it's as thick as stack of 10 sheets of plain printing paper so I hope the Grimco's tool will do. Tnx again!

    Hi folks - need help here - I need to round corners on aluminum sheets 0.025 gauge,the size will be 30x40 or larger - don't have a plasma machine or CNC - short of doing it w jigsaw and a file - some kind of a punch maybe? Tnx!
