  1. Font help!

Can anyone ID this font? I should know it, but can't seem to find it. Thanks!
  2. Forum search?

Thanks - that works great! Curious as to why the forum search is so peculiar, though!
  3. Forum search?

Greetings! Am I doing something wrong? I was looking for posts giving advice on printing a decent red, so used the "Search" link to look. However, for the keyword "red" it came back as no results? I'm sure I've seen many posts concerning this subject, so am I using the search wrong? I tried...
  4. Contours won't "combine"

I've had this before - try reversing the direction of the nodes on one of the shapes, and then combine.
  5. Frosted window film with intricate design installation

Rapidtac II for glass - makes quite a difference
  6. Fitting a 8'x4' digital print onto a 8'x4' sheet

Could the fact that most substrates in the UK are 2440mm x 1220mm rather than 4'x8' have any bearing?
  7. Buy local?

I recall seeing in a store here recently, a packet of little sticky labels proudly saying "Made in Canada" for you to affix to your products. The irony is the labels were printed in China.....
  8. EngravLab for Laser Engraver Question

The printer driver, if there is one, would be tied to your laser engraver and not part of Engravelab. AFAIK you would just install it as another printer on your computer and whatever software you use (including Engravelab) would just use the installed driver. Do you know if your engraver came...
  9. Versaworks sort solution

One of the annoyances in Versaworks is it's lack of optimizing the cut sequence. For those who design in CorelDraw, here is a solution: http://www.coreldrawtools.com/artworkoptimizerstandard/index.html Works pretty good - you can download a free evaluation copy and it's only $50 to buy.
  10. Is this a good business decision?

I agree - so when we start piping down the oil, you should pay the same for gas that we do :ROFLMAO:
  11. Is this a good business decision?

Interesting. I was listening to the radio and evidently many people living close to the border are traveling down from Canada just to get tickets. After all, it's tax free in Canada! (Well, you'd have to claim it back but still..) Me... I can't even win an argument...
  12. PVC 4x8 Sign Frame

Greetings! We ordered an actual kit for our own sample sign. I like the product. Our sign is only 3' x 6' but we opted for a 6mm aluminum composite panel - I would suggest a 4' x 8' x 3mm would be too flimsy?
  13. PHP Email Form Processing Question

You may be getting confused between an email address embedded in your form (such as a "mailto:" link, which can be easily read by a bot or any human who looks at your web page's source, and an address in your php handler, which generally can't be accessed. Of course, nothing is 100% secure, but...
  14. Peavey Mart

Greetings! Any of my Canadian friends have a colour reference for the Peavey Mart red? No-one at the store knows and it will take a while to get the info from corporate. Thanks!
  15. Sliding scale discounts

    Thank you!
  16. Sliding scale discounts

Thanks Brian, That's not the one though - I seem to recall it was a mathematical formula between the highest price you would charge and the lowest?
  17. Sliding scale discounts

Greetings! A while back, someone posted a formula for calculating quantity discounts on a sliding scale... can someone point me to the posting - I have tried a search but am not sure what to look for? Thanks
  18. Let's Discuss Pickles...

Ketchup is liquid evil, everyone knows that. Pickled onions are the best, done in malt vinegar. The sort that make your eyes tear up.
  19. Spam email

Greetings! Just had one of 'those' emails purportedly from DHL about a parcel, but fairly obviously a spoof email with a suspicious attachment. Of course, what gave it away was that it started "Hello Dear" - either that or DHL are way too familiar with their customers! :ROFLMAO:
