But why is it dry on one side and not the other? I am not familiar with this printer but can you take temp readings with an infrared temp gun on both sides of the platen when printing to see if the printer is heating the same on each side? Just an idea.

Roland uses a combination of Ethers and they are not cheap.

I have that exact laminator and I think it is the best laminator at twice that price.

Why not just use document management software and your iphone? I already use it to scan pdf files and the quality is very good. Now I am thinking that I can use 3rd party document management software to manage the files & extract info. Am I missing something? I just don't want to own another...

Instead of the baby oil you can get a bottle of straight mineral oil from the drug store, they sell it as a laxative. It doesn't have all of the fragrances... and it is much more viscous and coats better.

I think that is just software. I wonder how long until adobe includes this type of tech?
