  1. New Logo For new Company

I would like to see the paw a bit smaller and without the slashes through them, it just busies up the image. Also the pads might be reshaped a bit. I wonder if you could come up with a slick way to shape the name somehow to form the center pad itself? Just a thought.
  2. Folding banner edges

I have used two strips wide to hem 12' banners that I printed on my 54" machine. Haven't had a seam fail yet, have had the material rip on one but not the seam.
  3. What black do you use?

That was a great link. The value I posted then was actually correct for the type of files that I use. Thanks. I understand not nearly enough about color.
  4. What black do you use?

Probably right Pat, I should spend 10 minutes and figure out the magic number for my setup. I do tone it down for big solids but don't have a magic number yet.
  5. Beware before Roalnad eco solvant Printer purchase

I read it, it was pretty thick. lol Honestly I agree with everyone here with most of it, I just know this guy is probably frustrated out of his mind as we would be and I don't mind the poor attempt at English. I like hearing from folks in other places and trying to get an idea as to what their...

  7. Beware before Roalnad eco solvant Printer purchase

It is Joe, depends on what region you are in, cast, if you were able to attend school.... Even when I have been there and speaking with quite educated folks the English can be very hard to understand with the thick accent. They also speak a much more British style English.
  8. Beware before Roalnad eco solvant Printer purchase

Gino, if that is true than we should only be calling him out on his behavior and not his willingness to try and communicate with us in what is obviously not his mother tongue. I welcome folks from other countries to come here and try to glean or provide information, although this OP didn't do a...
  9. Beware before Roalnad eco solvant Printer purchase

Yes, you are only allowed to speak when you are perfectly fluent; Christ, if that were the case 98% of us would have to leave the forum. I speak 2 other languages less than fluently but I try, when using these languages in foreign lands I am always treated with the utmost respect or might be...
  10. Beware before Roalnad eco solvant Printer purchase

Wow, good thing we don't have to try to communicate with Roland in Japanese, they would just mock us and tell us to f-off. OP, I am very sorry that you have had such a bad experience with your Roland distributor in India. I got the gist of most of what you were trying to say. Not many people...
  11. Ever weed Oracal 5700 reflective?

Better quit talking smack, looks like that pancake is wearing a black belt.
  12. card layout

I would make your logo make the statement of midnight, a night background is not a logo and you won't be able to use it on much more than a card. You have middle tones and dark tones, then a dark outline, then middle tones again; There is no contrast in this design. The use of the same font...
  13. scooter board

It looks like if you had sealed the edges that the sign would be in perfect cond.
  14. pricing for menu changes?

We did a big set that was $400. Charge the shop minimum for the vinyl and the shop hourly rate for time removing, cleaning, installing... These things can take up more time than you think and the guy doesn't want to buy new menu boards.
  15. An order fell in my lap - now how do I do it

Some of this depends on the wind in your area, we get winds up to 80mph regularly. The wind laughs at T posts that are sandbagged. I put out a 4" square tubing framed sign with 'T' legs extended at the bottom with a 4' x 6' insert and sandbagged the heck out of the bottom. Found the sign...
  16. I don't know nothin about sailboats and also font help

Let's just hope he sails a sloop and not a ketch rig.
  17. An order fell in my lap - now how do I do it

Don't know what your problem is, I quoted him by the square foot; One week he have in for 3 square feet, the next week for 1.5... ... My biggest repeat client. lol
  19. Strangest thing I ever wrapped ...

I would be a little concerned about the heat from the burners and steamer. We have a cart and certain areas and exhausts etc, can get very hot.
