When jousting, a knight holds the lance in his right hand and it points across his body to the left side of the horse - so they joust "on the right" of divider.

  4. what is this business coming to

As far as I can see, the existence of the Crikut is no more a threat than the Dollar Store selling cheap hammers - it's not going to put Contractors out of business any time soon. Our customers don't come to us because of what tools we have, but what we can produce from them...

  6. Rant about Illustrator

Exactly! That's how I feel! Also, I am completely underwhelmed by the majority of Illy files that we receive from "designers" - in wire frame, they seem to be a carcophony of clipping masks, hidden layers, etc. I know this isn't the software's fault, but it doesn't help!
  7. Rant about Illustrator

Firstly, I know it's me - all part of the learning curve, etc. But Illustrator (CS4) seems to irritate the heck out of me - it seems so clunky. Nothing seems to do what I want it to do, it seems to never select the item I want and at this point in my experience trying to get to grips with it I...

  10. Inventory-free T-shirts and merchandise

Greetings! As one of my outside interests, I serve on the board of our local SPCA. I'm trying to locate a place that we can order custom printed garments, etc, for us to sell without having to carry an inventory - I'm sure I've seen this kind of set-up somewhere? Can anyone point me in the...

  14. Illustrator file

Just to update - I found a previously downloaded trial copy of CS4 that I'd forgotten about, and copied the .cab file from that. Lucky I remembered it, because I could only find CS5 on Adobe's website. Anyway - problem solved - thanks to all who responded.
  15. Illustrator file

Greetings! I have a question regarding the legitimacy of asking the question...? We have a legal bona fide copy of Illustrator CS4. However, when installing from the DVD, the installer is reporting that the "AdobeFontsAll" cab file is damaged. Sure enough, the disk has a few blemishes though I...
  16. No Smoking signs

Greetings! Looking for a hundred or so table-top "No Smoking" signs suitable for placing in hotel rooms. Maybe the 'tent' style or something in a stand? Any ideas on a supplier - north of the border would be great... Thanks in advance
  17. VCarve Pro CNC Software

Thoroughly recommended - we use Aspire exclusively after upgrading from VCarve. It has done everything we asked so far. They are continuously improving it and have great support. Plus the price is very affordable compared to others.
  18. Installing 1/2" PVC sign on dry wall

With ½" PVC, we drill half-way into the back and insert metal studs (we use left over ones from Gemini) secure in place with epoxy. Hold up to wall and push enough to mark the drywall (you can spot the ends with lipstick or similar if you like), drill through and then silicone the studs into...
  19. Table stands

Greetings! Can anyone suggest a source for small table stands like this? This one looks like folded .060 styrene, and is about 2¾" wide x 4¼" high. Doesn't have to be identical, but something similar? Need about 100 of them. Thanks, Graham
