I was on www.4PrintersOnly.com today and I notice they now list their stocks as US Made or Imported and most are Imported....

And finding "Canadian Made" is even a bigger challenge....

The 51" Samsung plasma bought earlier this year says "Made in Mexico".....So this must be a recent change......And when I was in Mexico in January, I was in the Walmart in Puerto Vallarta and they had all kinds of Samsung TVs Made in Mexico....

Samsung still makes them in Mexico....

I think Silk Cards are actually from Korea and may to consolidated to a shipping point in China or Hong Kong... And as far as freight from Asia, it is not too bad when I consider what Purolator charges to ship across Canada..

Call Stickerman.....As far as I know they print them on a flexo press and can do up to 6 colours....About 200.00 for 1,000.....25.00 extra per colour....

Sound great for real short runs, but you can buy 250 4/4 plastic cards with lamination for about 80.00....Hard for me to make a business case to do it myself....

Only slows down when I am not knocking on doors.....YTD I am up about 8% over last year (and still have another week+ in August)....So I am doing just fine....

What is that stuff used for?.....lol....Many folks here have never used paints, etc.....

On Craigslist, I got a Hix HT600D and a Geo Knight DK20, 500 heat transfers and 6,500.00 (wholesale) of t-shirts for 1,500.00 as part of an estate sale....The presses were less than 3 years old and I figure I got them for about 11 cents on the dollar.....

I have switched most of my incoming shipments to Fedex.....UPS takes longer from many locations and is much harder on packages and splits up multi piece shipments....2 of my largest suppliers have switched to Fedex because based on their research and client comments, Fedex does a better job...
