Cut vinyl serves a purpose....And it holds up way better than printed stuff as far as I can tell from looking at signs in my area......The printed ones seems to fade much faster....
And as far as doing cut vinyl, i am happy to say I do enough to make it worth my while.....Although I stopped...

Maybe, if you are paying those insane prices.....But probably not if you are counting your time, overhead, wear & tear on equipment, etc....Glad I do not have to pay those prices....
It stuns me that people think they can do runs of decals cheaper doing it themselves versus outsourcing....The only time DIY has the edge is quick turnaround time....
How small of run?.....I can buy 200 printed pens for 52.80 plus shipping.....Do you really think there is money to be made competing with this?....And just because they need it quick, does not mean they will pay you enough to make it worth your while...Many have tried and failed and that is why...
