    If you haven't already, print a Pantone chart from Flexi (your favorite application) and pick the swatch that is closest to the actual pantone color. That's one of my favorite features of our Roland, the "Spot" color library that is built into the RIP. Just specify the color number and the RIP...

    If "Cut All Paths" is selected and you are using an EPS file then yes VW will recognize the Contour Cut. If you have a newer version of Flexi you can configure it so there is a button that allows you to select an object an transfer it right to VW without having to export an EPS file.

  19. VersaWorks adding magenta to 100% yellow

    In VersaWorks click the "Quality" button on the left side of your "Job Settings" screen, then change your "Color Management" "Preset" to "Density Control Only". Now if your file says 100% Yellow, the printer will only print 100% Yellow.

    Take-up reel

    I like to keep my prints on the core. I can remove the core from the printer, let it dry, then put it right onto the laminator without having to re-roll the print.
