  7. Woo Hoo! Economy is recovering!

Ever since I raised prices in the shop ... I've been getting tips from customers after I finish their jobs. I almost have enough for that 55" tv now after 6 months of saving tips that I don't spend on stuff like lunch and coffee. Oddest thing ever. Other than that, had a sales rep about 6...

  10. This indecisions bugging me...

While they may wholesale buy their domains ... I'm pretty sure if you counter with a reasonable offer of "$100 for the .com or $400 for all of them" and then just throw an xcel file of the cost of 5 domains for 10 years and inform them that you already have the domain backordered through godaddy...
  11. Lowballing at it's finest on vans

You know Gino, you have some of the best customer stories. But I have seen that happen a lot. There is a dude in town that I don't think remembers his placement from one side to the next ... straight ... just not the same place ... and dirt cheap. Lost a few customers to him because of that...
  12. Need toy Box trucks or Semis

That is a great site ... also have rigs there ... it's a kw w900 so make sure the person you're giving it to isn't a die hard peterbilt fan ... but cool none the less. http://www.diecastsupermart.com/store/p/36961-Kenworth-W900-1-43-.html
  13. Lowballing at it's finest on vans

well, that really isn't that much of a lowball offer depending on the size of the work ... with a 30 inch roll of material he would probably only use about 4'-7' of vinyl for most vans ... I would do that job for about $400. If it's top to bottom about 20' of vinyl ... HELL no.
  14. This indecisions bugging me...

checked the whois on fastsigns.com (and .net, .org, etc) dns host was fastpark.net which is the dns for aplus.net http://whois.domaintools.com/fastpark.net you can probably contact them and see how much they will sell you the domain for since it was probably registered through them for a...
  15. This indecisions bugging me...

I say all redirect, but be careful with the thinksigns.co ... most people will still do the .com instead and be directed to a dead site. Look into buying thinksigns.com ... might cost you a few hundred ... but might be worth it.
  16. Best host and registrar?

-1 x 20 First off getting your DNS to adjust to a non-static IP address will cause a 50% downtime of your site. Second ... why? There are plenty of free servers out there that have 90% uptime and will let you host one domain let alone there are a ton of $4-$15 per month hosts that will let...
  17. how do i get this effect with text?

Funny coming from someone who is trolling the OP.
  18. 10' posts? PT, Douglas Fir or cedar?

+1 to what signmeup said. 10'x4"x4" and longer can be ordered, you will just have to wait ... or find a lumber yard that cuts their own stock. Places that actually sell deck supplies (not home despot and their 'lumber' department) will probably have load baring kiln dried 4x4s to the length...
