Most ink tests are done using a vertical application. 3 months is still pretty lightweight. I noticed yellow from the old colorcamm would fade first (usually leaving a magenta or dark image) after 6 months outside on a surface with high sun/uv exposure.

The VP and SP includes only the short set of media guides. I have taped a businesscard to the platten with masking tape to act as a temporary media guide in conjunction with the metal guides to prevent the heads from hitting the edge of the printed material. Might work for you too.

Do not use solvent cleaning fluid to clean this part ! Alcohol or Windex works fine with a lint free swab.

You need to choose Roll 2 instead of Roll 1 when setting up your vinyl. Roll 1 senses the front edge of the material. Roll 2 ignores the front media sensor. Hit the Down arrow before you hit enter when setting it up... menu should say Roll 2
