Sorry about that.. I am not using the bulk system, I am using the 440 carts from Solaris and I changed them out one at a time as I used up my remaining OEM carts... just wanted to note that I didn't see any adverse effects using both oem and solaris in the machine at the same time.

I also use the Solaris ink and it's fantastic. The colors are nearly perfect with Roland OEM and when I swapped I just changed out one cart at a time and it works great.

As...
  7. Calling all gardeners....WHAT IS THIS ??

That is definitely a pumpkin plant.. The fruit looks exactly right, plus if it were squash or zucchini plant it wouldn't spread out with "runners". After sitting pumpkins out each fall I always have plants that come back in the summer, but I also always plant pumpkins in the garden for the...

  11. Newbie needs help

I usually design in Photoshop and if it is a square/rectangle solid panel (no contour cut) then I will save it as a flattened pdf and import that into flexi and then rip and print. If there is a contour cut then I will save it as a layered psd and import it into flexi and then apply the contour...
  12. Police Car Pricing Question

I agree with a few other posts on here that the best way is to let them find the graphics and then work something out with them on installation. I have found that I cannot compete on the graphics themselves as they are ordering them but I can make a decent amount of profit on installing them...
  13. Is there any programs to help enlarging photographs

I have enlarged a 300 dpi 4" x 6" photo into a 8' tall billboard photo (100 dpi) using photoshop. The key is to enlarge it 10% at a time.. Scan the document and then go into photoshop and choose "Image Resize" and lock the proportions and change them to 110%, at the bottom select "Bicubic...
  14. 60inch banner

In a pinch I have printed the image on vinyl and then applied the vinyl in two pieces.. now this was when I had to have an oversize banner done overnight and couldn't sub it out.. As with everyone else has suggested.. it's best to sub it out.
  15. Good Printable Transfer Material?

It's actually quite marketable and holds up very well. I'm a screen printing shop as well so it might make a difference, but it seems when I do sets of uniforms each year I end up with more business coming my way through the parents on the teams. It might be a pain to deal with the...
  16. Good Printable Transfer Material?

I use Color Print Solvent which is made by Specialty Materials, the company who makes Thermoflex Plus. It comes in a few different versions/colors and I have used the "Gloss" and "Frost" (which is slightly matte) and both have held up extremely well for full color logos on adult...

Also, if you need a cheap place to get quality solvent resistant tubing here is where I bought mine from, I use this to repair the lines from the cap to the the pump, from the pump to the waste, etc. Most of the time you can just take apart the pump and replace the lines and you don't have to...
