  1. looking for a 100$ bill

Don't scan it....lay one out smooth on a white sheet of paper and shoot a digital photo of it....from there you can work with it like you want.
  2. coon hunting eps/vector file

Rats and coyotes are fun, but nothing beats the sight of an armadillo literally exploding when shot with a high-powered rifle. Parts fly everywhere....looks like a scene from a tank battle in an old WWII movie.

You can go to the Aladdin website and download the XP update for your hasp key.
  4. looking for technical name!

I had to vectorize and cut that graphic for a psychiatrist several years ago, before I had a printer. I didn't know the name of it then, but I do now.

  6. Combing Color Layer Elements - X3

Move the red 341 and the white 944 cup out of the way...then select everything else and click arrange/shaping/weld. All of your black pieces will then be one object with no overcut lines. By the way, on the outline for 341, there is a much easier way to get that effect without the hassle you...
  7. Corel users can you help?

I have never tried to get rid of the "page" because I use it. You can make it any size you want....it doesn't have to be 8 1/2 x 11. I usually make the page the same size as the sign I'm working on. If you want to make it seem as if it's not there, you could make the page huge...like 10 feet...
  8. PF Motor?

My guess is that PF stands for Print Feed....the motor that pulls your media through the machine.
  9. Mustang

Change the import filter to .eps postscript interpreted. Then it will import like it's supposed to. Then hit arrange-ungroup and delete the invisible box around it.

Replace the cutter protection strip. It cuts deeper where the strip is worn more.
  11. exporting from corel to flexi

Yep. Heheh. Learned everything I know by good old trial and error. Lots and lots of trials....lots and lots of errors.
  12. exporting from corel to flexi

Old subject covered many times.....This is how I do it.....open or create design in Corel.....select all and click "copy"......open blank document in Flexi and click "paste". Some people say this doesn't work, but I have both programs and have been doing it for years with Corel versions 8 thru...
  13. Font ID for TRD...

There is a free font called Terminator that is very similar. The R is not the same, but you could modify it if need be.
  14. Vinyl Express GRC-61 plotter problem

I had to download an update to make the LXI dongle work with Windows XP when I upgraded to a new computer.
  15. coreldraw CDR to Flexisign

This question gets asked fairly often. I have VE LXI Expert, which is a house-brand version of Flexi. I do my designing in Corel and then simply copy and paste into LXI for cutting. Some people say that copy/paste does not work for them, but it works fine for me. If it doesn't work for you, then...
  16. Exporting from X3

I have X3 and a version of LXI Expert that is about 7 years old ....can't remember the version number right offhand. I Copy from Corel X3 and paste in LXI and it works fine for me .....also worked with Corel 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. However, copy and paste does not work well going in the other...
  17. Exporting from X3

Open your file in Corel, open a new page in lxi, then copy from corel and paste in lxi. Been working for me for years.
  18. fast rabbit

Check out the old Hijacker air shocks logo. A really cool cartoon rabbit just about like you described. There is a good picture on Ebay you could probably copy and vectorize.....then remove the lettering and modify the rabbit so it won't be the same as the logo. It's an old logo anyway....I...
  19. Corel to Flexi

If you are just cutting and not printing, then you will be unlikely to be using gradients and such, so that shouldn't be a problem. I design in Corel and then just copy and paste into Flexi with no problem at all. If you want another entire design program, Flexi is a good one. However, if you...
  20. removing all of the white bitmap box in signlab

In Corel, pull up your bitmap and go to bitmaps/color mask. A box will open up with several color bars (all will be black). Put a checkmark beside the first box. Then go to the eyedropper tool just below and click on it. Move your cursor (which will look like the eyedropper now) to the white...
