White acrylic, .177'' Sides (retainers) do come off for installation. If there is an existing sign...measure that one to make new face.

Something internal on the board is probably overheating. A resistor or capacitor. I have and old HS15 with the same problem. Never fixed it...put it in a closet.

I use ORAFOL 970RA Wrapping Cast. It works well, Comes in gloss or flat black.

(I always gently wipe my prints with a soft, lint-free cloth as they are feeding into the laminator, but it STILL happens.) Use a tack cloth, for picking up sawdust before finishing. A soft lint free cloth just pushes the crap around.

I use a good coating of Gorilla wood glue on the edge of MDO. It soaks in and dries smooth.

The job looks great of course. But I think that lift you were working on was the sweetest part.

Did this one last year. The letters are about five feet tall and the Gladiator was fifteen feet tall. Building was 110 feet wide. Blue letters have a small yellow outline....All paint.

I did a bunch of these a few years ago. Client wanted 24'' x 24'' round real estate signs. I made a circle cutting jig for the band saw, Cut 3mm BeBond and installed a print to each side. I also created the rider signs on the bottom that had a curve in the top. Installed grommets for hanging.

I probably shouldn't have included that photo. The plaques have a woodgrain, weathered look that just didn't show in the photo. Customer was very pleased.
