What are you printing a Raster or Vector file? What are you using for Black? RGB or CMYK? For vector objects you should be using 100%K, C, M, Y 0%. Some people design it at C100 M100 Y100 K100 though.... and that's just too much ink to be laying down, and it makes a mess when you go to...

Time for a new MS Station. If that does not help, new heads and dampers could be answer to your problem.

Randy, What can you tell us about the difference between the SW PrismJet VJ 1204 - 48inch printer. and the Mutoh ValueJet?? Is this the same machine ? Same components? What's the difference other that the firmware and the color?? Please replay I'll buy you a beer... :toasting:

DSD, You're right, There was an error on the VJ-1204 driver on Flexi 8.5 v1 and 8.5 SP2. The fix it is to upgrade to 8.5v2, then Flexi will allow you to print the full 48.00"

What version of Flexi are you running ?

Have you soak the head(s) ?

Both have the same flushing box, the 1204 uses a waste tray, the 1304 has a waste bottle. :Oops:
