-Take cover off printer and check to see if the ink lines have kink / hole or leak.
-Inspect the right print head manifold, it is possible that you crack it while you replace the dampers.
-Check the condition of the O rings as well.
Just my 3 cents... lol
Hi we are new to the ValueJet 1204 v and need to get some idea of what the different quality settings do I . I have been usiing the graphics 2 setting and think I am close but dont know if there is other settings or better settings for this could you tell me what the different setting are good...
-Make sure all Nozzles are firing adecuatelly , especially M&Y.
-Make sure your are using a CMYK color chart ( The Corel CMYK in flexi works well )

You are looking at $500 parts ( 2 Print heads & 4 Dampers )
If you are mechanically inclined and if you have the MM. Replace it your self.
If not,
try to find a local tech with experience that will do it for you.
The Voltage adjustment it is done only for STALLING issues.
Usually the the printer stalls 20% 40% through. The carriage will go back to his capping station and following message will be displayed: “receive [Port2]”.
I do not think that the Voltage has to do anything with Y errors.
Power off the machine and try to move the print head while holding the motor's shaft check to see if the pulley is slipping on the y-motor, if it is then the answer could be a new Y-motor ....
Also try to add / loosen tension to the belt .
Just my 2 cents...
I have a FO48" and I need to set Flexi temporarily on my XP Home machine
Does anyone here have experience using XP Home ?
Any Pros / cons ?
I've heard some folks that run Home edition that had some connectivity issues ( with the Print Server provided from Mutoh )
Thanks!
The mainboard is shared with the CAD version (RJ-900/901)
of these printers. There are drivers available for the CAD printers for CAD printing. These drivers can't handle full raster processing.
That's why TCP/IP it is required.
I would check first the amount of ink in the Black cartridge.
If you already prime the Black head with a syringe and nothing comes through
The answer will probably be a new maintenance station.
Right click on your printer in the production manager list and select Default Job Properties>Color Managment> Ink Limits>
try lower the ink levels on every ink chanel 10%
You'll need to do some testing until you get it work right....
